It means that the device driver associated with the named service is damaged; you will need to reinstall it to correct the problem, or at least run a rollback to an earlier system state where the corruption had not taken place. You'll want to have the Win2K system administrator take a look at the message and identify exactly what the corrupted driver is and have them perform the reinstall, or perform a rollback using the System Restore utility.
