There are certain reports on Russian VFP Club forum that it works ok also under W98 and NT, when installed without checking for OS or just copied as is. However, stable work is not guaranteed, because VFP8 beta development environment was not tested under W98 and NT. I guess some components upgrade is still required for W98/NT. Also, there is no guarantee such installation would not break something on your computer...
