Hi Emanuele.

>I tried to force updatetype = 1 passing it calling DODEFAULT(...) in the beforeupdate event ... no change!

I don't know why it's getting changed to 2, but changing it back to a 1 in BeforeUpdate wouldn't help because by that time, VFP has already determined what the delete and insert command should be. Did you try the suggestion (checking the SQL Update setting in the Options dialog) I made earlier?

>The two statement DELETE and INSERT should work .... but the insert statement captured with profiler show me that only fields changed are inserted, not the all fields of records, so the operation isn't corretct!

You have to indicate that all fields are updateable by putting their names into the UpdatableFieldList property. I noticed that you omitted the ID field from this list.
