Hi, Everyone,
One of our users reported a fatal error which resulted from trying to save records into a table, that has a corrupted memo file.
I used the table in VFP and tried to PACK MEMO or PACK, only to see "Memo File: c:\data\assignments.fpt is missing or invalid" error message. I also VALIDATEd the database to RECOVER and it did not solve the problem.
I was able to BROWSE it and double-click the memo fields to see MEMO contents, some of which were corrupted ( I see junk data in those MEMO fields).
Is there any way that I can repair this table without losing data?
I am in desperate need of help!
