This has to be a bug, it's just too weird. I have one application that has a Football as it's project icon. I pointed installshield to the executable and the icon attaches to the shortcut. All is golden there.

Now I have another application. It has a wizard as an icon. The Icon is attached to the project. Again I point installshield to the executable. The wizard icon is attached to the project. It shows up fine on my developer machine.

Now I go to a clean machine, a brand new install of xp and install my second application. The first application has never been installed on this machine. Guess what? the icon is a football! It should be my wizard.

Now it gets weirder....
When I right click on the football! shortcut and look at properties. Choose "change Icon", Which Icon do you think windows has in the little box. THE WIZARD! It even displays the correct icon on the propeties page. But the shortcut displays a football.

I have rebooted, refreshed F5, I went to my old tweak program and chose rebuild icons. Still screwed up.
