An NT book is not going to help on its own - you're going to have to open up the Services applet to find out what the QbikHk2K service is and what files are associated with it; once you've found that out, you can reinstall or repair as necessary. As far as System Restore, Start Menu/Programs/Accessories/System Tools/System Restore and follow the directions. I'd make certain I had a full backup before I started.
This is not a trivial thing. You can do more harm than good trying to use these utilities without understanding exactly what you're doing. The cost of a consultant is trivial compared to the cost of having to do the whole thing over from scratch, which is what you risk by doing things incorrectly.
