Hi.
Just noticed this thread and wonder if anybody has connected a Till to a VFP app. One of our users wants POS and am currently investigating:

What I think i need is:
1. Connect up a Small Receipt printer to a pc
2. Connect up a till to the pc (Is this just a drawer)
3. Possibly connect up a Credit Card machine
3. Amend our Invoicing screens to use these devices.

I'd welcome any comments , like , is this approach the correct way to go or is there a better way.

>In addition to what Ed replied, I do know that the serial Epson receipt printers require the use of a NULL modem cable. Personally I use the EPSON POS SDK instead of generic printer drivers. This saves a lot of problems.
