Just noticed something strange here in Winston using the View Designer in VFP 3.0... (YES.... 3.0.... (grin)) Windows 95 also to a MS-SQL database.

When I take a Remote Connection and set up a Remote View to it in the View Designer, if I select s Character Field of any appreiciable length, and do a Query on it, the Query returns the field in a browse, but only the first 2 characters are shown... the rest are blank to the right of the 2....

If I add another field to the query, then then 1st shows all the data, but the 2nd now has this problem of only showing the first 2 characters...

and so on and so forth...

So..........

Have any of you seen this before? Or have I done something incredibly stupid....
