What do you mean? Are you talking about sending mails? It's a different story, there are also lots of methods to send e-mail. You may want to choose which method you're going to use (it may depend on your user's default mail client) and then use this method.

May be it's a topic for another thread to discuss all existing methods for sending e-mails...
