Its been a long time since I used them but perhaps you could create a PIF file and set the correct folder in there. Then instead of calling the DOS exe itself you run the PIF file? There is a foxrun.pif in the VFP7 folder which you could try. Make a copy of it, right click the file and then edit its properties including the working folder.
