The idea is interesting, but I don't see, how it would work. Would appreciate it you let me know the result.

Also I thought a little bit about triggers idea. Insert and Delete triggers are trivial, but I'm not sure, how to implement Update. I believe, I saw a thread here while back on this topic, I'll try to find it.
