Be aware that many have reported that installing FPW off the original floppies (or even the CD) simply doesn't work. It's been suggested that the 16-bit installer used the same linker that caused the FPW Divide by Zero problem. I've found it easier to "install" off a zipped up set that was saved off an old / slow system.
Some DOS installers have problems under XP - even in compatibility mode. Your company's MIS group may have to revise the policy for products that are more than 8 years old!

>I am looking to get copies of the original FoxPro 2.6 for DOS install disks and distribution kit. Our company's MIS group is migrating to a new server and we are not allowed to merely copy software- it must be installed. We are licensed users of Visual Studio 6 (and I am a licensed user of VFP 3, 5 and 6) so I do not believe that there is a licensing problem.

>Please let me know, as soon as possible, if you can supply me with these disks, and I will get back to you right away. As far as a fee for your efforts goes, I'm sure that we can come to an agreement that is very suitable to both sides. I thank you for your time and asistance.
