I suppose it depends on what you mean by 'good', and on what your particular needs are. I've used Norton Anti-Virus (NAV) for years and AFAIK it's never failed me. I use it to manually scan all downloaded file, and for a periodic full-system scan. I also use its automatic e-mail scanning feature, which has been a big help since Klez, etc., staring making the rounds.

My NAV is up for renewal - I just checked and it looks like the annual subscription is now $24.95, which I consider a bit pricey. It used to be $9.95, then $14.95, which was more reasonable IMO. Maybe this year's renewal is more expensive because I'm running an older version, I don't know. In any case, a new version comes with a year's subscription, so if you buy now you won't have to pay again for 12 months. I'll probably upgrade to SystemWorks 2003 instead of buying a renewal for the current version.
