We have the 2 Dells that I mentioned and the results are the same with
'do form programs\testform'.
The client is running VFP 6 runtime (on the HP with W95) with the same results.
If I create the same form with the VFP5/7 base controls the scrolling works fine.
It takes only a matter of a few minutes ... base form, cmd button to close and the combo.
>>The testing that I am doing now is with the VFP 6 base objects.
>>There is no code at all in the object or anywhere else in the form that affects the object.
>>There is no DBC - only a free table.
>>The two computers are a new Dell with XP PRO and a three year old Dell with W98.
>>The customer who first noticed that the scrolling stopped working when we converted over from VFP 5-> 6 is using a HP with W95.
>>BTW - to make sure that it wasn't related to the conversion I created a new form with the VFP 6 controls from scratch. It is not part of a project, etc.

>>>What code, if any, do you have hooked into the control's events? Any code in mouse-related events? Any trigger etc. on the underlying alias in a DBC?
>>>
>>>Have you tested on computers that are significantly different? (i.e. not two identical Dell workstations)
>>>
>>>Just throwing out SWAGs hoping that something sticks... ;-)
