Nadya,

Ok, lets try it this way... I have a program that downloads data from a credit card processing terminal. It is delivered to me in Delimited ASCII text. When it has completed the download, the SAVE window comes up, asks me to give the file a name and then click on Save. I want eliminate the SAVE window from coming up and automatically create the .txt file with a name I specify in the application.

Now that I have that file saved, I need to import the file. I want to have the same program call the file I just saved and perform the import. At present, I have to call up the OPEN window, select the name of the file and then have the program perform the import.

Ultimately, the end-user should only have to click on a menu option and the above is performed for them w/o their needing to do anything.

Does that make more sense?

Thanks!

Jack
