Are you doing any SourceSafe functions in Visual FoxPro, or do you use Visual SourceSafe Explorer for both check-ins and check-outs? If you don't do SourceSafe through Visual FoxPro, the .SCA file will never be updated, and will therefore always be out of date. The .SCA is only updated when doing check-outs/check-ins from FoxPro.

I personally always use the SourceSafe Explorer for all SourceSafe functions, and I don't even have the .SCA files. I never liked the interface of using SourceSafe through FoxPro.

>I just started using visual source safe (after several years of waiting to get around to it). I'm using VSS to check out the modules and form since the project manager is so slow with it. When I check a form out, there are three files, scx, sct, sca. Do I have to check all three out?
