I know with v5 we had a folder that came with a "setup" executable that would install the runtime files. I looked all up and down my v7 and v8 disks but could not find a setup pgm that would do the same thing. There was a setup in the folder that had what appeared to be the RT language files but it always bombed with an error message about wanting more __________ .

Unfortunately I'm not an "Install Sheild" person so the prior suggestion would literally need play-by-play instructions. I did install IS just to see if it had a straightforward procedure for what you were talking about but I didn't see anything for it.

I guess what I'm asking now is if there's anything similar to the v5 method for installing the files. Also, do they need to be "installed" with lots of registry changes or are they simply files that are copied to specific folder(s)?

Thanks again,

Alan
