In general, you can assume that the worst that could happen to you either a beating (in which case you could sue afterwards) or being held in jail up to 24 hours or charged with a crime. Granted, neither of these are acceptable and our system needs a LOT of work, but this is not the 'worst case scenario' in many countries.
Unless of course you are 'profiled' due to the changes since Sept 11th.
Do I take this to mean that you are definitely AGAINST the changes in our laws that have taken place since Sept 11th?
