maybe you haven't set them to = yourself < g >. Was that class one of those that didn't have a ToolTipText property in earlier versions of VFP? A minute ago, I've found out, that my base Container, OptionGroup, etc. classes in a project have the same problem. I had added a ToolTipText property in VFP7, which I set to (none). In VFP8, the properties, which are native VFP properties now contain =
This prevented some of my form classes with those controls on them from instantiating. The syntax error also occured when doing a MODI CLASS.
