>I have class libraries and procedure files that are shared between many projects. Even though I use the 'Share' option in the Source Safe context menu on these files, changes to these files do not propogate to the other projects. Updating the Project list and even selecting the 'Get Latest Version' does not actually get the latest version, but only gets the latest version change on that file for that specific project. How can I get the changes in a class library to proprogate to all souce controlled projects that have those files?

Hi Troy.
I work in a big VFP development project (40 developers) and we've been "using and abusing" VSS file sharing for over a year, with great success.
Some tips:
1. Are you sure files get really "shared" after the operation you perform? (do the multiple pages icon apears on the left). We found it easier and less error prone to just drag and drop the entire folder (or file) we wish to share into the other projects, rather than using the context menu action.
2. Check if the files are currently shared by using Properties / Links on any shared file: the other shared instances should appear there.
3. Sometimes, previously deleted (not purged) versions of the same files or folders, which were not shared, can cause sync failures. Try "deleting with purge" the existing files before sharing them from another project.
Hope this helps,
Jose.
