Hi,

I created a Winform Form VB Project.

The form has a datagrid and textboxes bind to each other.

When I mouse click on the second record in the grid I receive an error message Column 'Title' does not allow nulls; Correct Yes No. Click Yes but can't correct the value, then problem errors out.
"Title" is the name of the field.

The Sql "Title" field does not have the allow nulls checked for this field and the field contains nothing ''.

The Sql default value for that field is ''.

This is an existing record and the field = ''.

Does the Sql field have to have Allow Nulls set to "YES" OR is the Dataset not recognizing the difference between Nulls and ''?
