Am looking to build a backup scheme for the tables in a vfp7 application and ran across your message. Back in fpd2.6 if you backed up your date using the dos Copy command while they were still open, they would copy fine, but when you restored the files and tried to open the app it would blow sky high. Just for fun I tried it in this vfp7 app , and guess what? It worked fine. Thank you.
By the way, I went to your FAQ#10009 and it shows the Summary of "Automated backup" but won't show the detail. When I went to the top of the FAQ window and did a search on ID#10009 it couldn't find it. I think something must be wrong with the link.<g>
