Hi All,
Anyone know how to declare a UDF in xCase? I would like to use one, but I need xCase to know it's valid.

Background:
In xCase it is possible to declare a 'virtual field' in a view. These 'virtual fields' are just expressions of other fields (just what you would expect).

Problem:
I want to use a UDF as my expression for a virtual field.

I'm trying to find the MAX value of three fields in a record. If I use the MAX function in the SQL statement, the SQL MAX function is applied instead, and I get the MAX value for the field, over all records. I need to create a UDF which will use the VFP MAX function to compare my values.

I've defined all this stuff in my app already. The problem is that xCase does not want to build the view at this point, as it does not recognize my UDF name as a valid function.

Solution:
I need to make xCase aware of the UDF, so it will let it by. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

Daniel
