Every Canadians must participate as much as possible to help the environment. I try to do my part as much as possible:
  • I recycle as much as possible
  • I don't use my car when I can walk or take my bike
  • I don't throw my garbage anywhere else than in garbage cans
  • I don't overspend in things I don't really need
  • Yes, I have 2 cars, but they are small efficient ones (Honda Civic and Hyundai Accent). I will strongly consider buying an hybrid car the next time

    >I noticed that 1900 people in Ontario die from smog, how many die in Alberta? If we are the largest contributors, people should be dieing in the hundreds at least here.

    >Every Canadian is at fault for GHG that is no doubt. Do you think hitting this problem at more of an individual level would help. I think we should all buy that little Honda or Toyota electric cars to help with the issue. I am sure that Ontario would not have the smog problem if everyone in Toronto converted to fuel/electric hybrid cars. Maybe smaller more efficient housing. Maybe a awesone recycling solution to boot. Oh ya, Edmonton has that already. Where is Toronto shipping their garbage this week, Sudbury?
