Size requirements tend to go up. 15 years ago, descriptions of future computers systems, talking about 1 GB of hard disk, seemed very futuristic (when the typical hard disk had 30-40 MB).

On the other hand, if you have XP, it is usually better to use NTFS, which has many advantages over the FAT32 partitions.
