I finally found the problem.... I recompiled the program which calls my program and everything works fine. I'm still not exactly sure what the problem was but I think the first exe might have been compiled under 2.0.

While the rest of the world is moving on with Visual FP, I'm having to learn the ups and downs of 2.6! Crazy!
