I didn't know you're using VFP6, there is a new "IDE" tab in VFP7. It's the one place to set all properties for different editor. Sorry about the confusions. And glad that you found your solutions.
p/s: a new "Reports" tab in VFP8 to set the default properties like font, ruler scale, and the most important setting for report, IMO, which is disabled saving printer environment (ie. information that goes into Expr, Tag1, Tag2).
