I need to send email with patient information in a secure fashion. Duke has Notes mail. I can automate Outlook through POP3 to send mail but this is not as secure as staying within Notes - or so they tell me.

I need to create a memo, add some body text, attach a DOC file, add email addresses ("wineg002"), verify the addresses (changes to "Cindy Winegarden/Pediatrics/mc/Duke"), and send. The reason I need to verify the address is that the second format of the address will keep the email within Notes rather than sending "internet mail" - or so they tell me.

It's OK for me to send from my own Notes account.

I have collected various examples of Notes automation but when I try the following code

oSession = CREATEOBJECT("Notes.NotesSession")

VFP crashes with Cx5 errors. Notes opens though.

I am using "Release 6.0 September 26, 2002" of the Notes client. I don't know what's on the Notes server.
