NO kidding. For months the mailperson would park their mailtruck behind our building at lunchtime and eat lunch. We couldn't figure out where all the trash was coming from until one day someone was outback dumping garbage at the same time he was preparing to leave and resume his route. They watched him throwing his lunch trash out the window before he drove off. It was quite disapointing to say the least. Whenever I see this when my daughter (11 yrs old) and I are driving down the road she writes down the license plate number and reports it to the police. I find it hard to discourage her.

And then there is the fires started from cigarette butts thrown out car windows--that's why it is illegal in Arizona to smoke in your car(or so my sister who lives in Tucson informed me).
