Cathy is correct. You missunderstood what she is trying to tell you. In VB.net in order to display the column you want, you need to define the column as column define style and then add column to your design style. In the second screen that you going to see is where you assign the field from the table that you want to show. Using this option override your default presentation and the control take the new definition as the new and present just the column that you chose to display.
