Henry,

You have gotten some ideas in this thread. However, I would propose that if this value needs to show three 0's then it is NOT numeric data. In numeric data there is only one value for zero and that is 0. All of the ideas you have gotten are to convert the numeric data to character for display. I would propose that the field should be character and converted to numeric when calculations need to be done. If thre field is character then you have no problem as 000 is a different character value than 0, for numeric they are both the same value.
