Hi!

For downloading data - yes (See FAQ#8150). For something going on at SQL Server side - no, except you write your own stored procedure that will do something step by step and report status of operation. So, when you issue "UDPATE" SQL Server command by SQLEXEC(), you have no way to see progress.
