You are quite right, Bob - I truly have NO complaint with our "maintenance plan", especially looking at VFP8 details.

And I really like your last analogy about the doctor.

>But, you gotta admit, we have been maintained pretty well. Constant updates and SP's. Even enhancements in the SP's. The product is technically and functionally on par if not better than most of the other development stuff out there. With the release of VFP 8.0, well, lets just say, it is well worth the $150 to upgrade!

>Also, with a smaller user base, we have much closer interaction with not only each other, but the VFP team. When was the last time you paid for VFP support. I know I can send an email to Randy Brown, or Ken Levy and get a reply. It might take a week or so, but they usually reply. I'm not even a MVP!

>If you're happy with your Dr., you don't go looking for another, just cause yours isn't taking any new patients. Actually, to hear that they are going to concentrate on keeping ME happy, rather than trying to make someone that hasn't even bought the package happy, well, I prefer that!
