Hi everyone again,
I have found a workaround that solves the problem. I back up HKEY_CURRENT_USER from the registry, and then after the computer has crashed and won't run FoxPro 2.6 again, I just restore the registry settings. Then it works again, without me having to create a new user.
By backing up sub-portions of HKEY_CURRENT_USER I will try to gradually track down the exact key that is causing this problem, and when I do, I'll post it. It might help someone else at some point.

>>Another Windows 2000 problem. Working on FoxPro for Windows 2.6 in Windows 2000 Professional, SP2, at least once a week or so Fox throws an unhandled exception error and closes down. After this, anytime I open Fox 2.6 again and try to open a screen, the program terminates without an error or any message. Rebooting the computer does not solve the problem. Once it is there, it is there.
