John,
The WebAppBuilder should be doing all of this for you - creates virtuals based on what you input, creates new physical directory based on what you input. If you put 'myactivevfp' for the App name, then your virtual would be myactivevfp and accessed like http://localhost/myactivevfp . So it didn't create myactivevfp Virtual directory? Did it create the original AVFPdemo2 Virtual directory - WebAppBuilder uses the same process in the original setup...
