I think there were only some columns added to the mnx tables in VFP7. So I think you should be fine trying to manipulate your menu in VFP8. If VFP6 doesn't accept the VFP8 menu table, try to throw the new columns away (these are columns to support the picture stuff) and try again. And of course, make a backup before :)
