Hi Jess,
You might need to 'Pack' the data base if you do a lot of adds and deletes of records. You have to 'Shrink' the SQL database by right clicking on the database from within the SQL Enterprise Manager and select All Task; Shrink Database. You'll then need to go to Tools;SQL Query Analyzer do a 'checkpoint'. This should release all that data space used by the log file.
