Visual FoxPro is a great Windows based database development system and will continue to be with upcoming versions. In addition, it is important to also add that Microsoft is not an official sponsor of the GLGDW conference. I did do the keynote session (great summary about the session on the UT conference coverage report) and I also handed out VFP 8.0 beta CDs and VFP 8.0 mouse pads to attendees. That is the extent of Microsoft's involvement. Microsoft did not know about in advance and had absolutely nothing to do with the closing session hand outs, message, etc.
