In that vein, I'm sure you'll tromp around MSFT and correct the fact that MSFT has worked on SQL Server for over 15 years -- putting to rest the fake 10 year anniversary for SQL Server...

Anyway, I just posted it because I thought it was humorous.

Having said that, Steve Ballmer was recently asked (by recently, I mean within the month) about "software as a service" and he indicated that it's still a long term goal for MSFT. So the humorous quote isn't entirely inaccurate, either. Considering the enormous advertising budget, any "miseducation" is directly related to MSFT's marketing of .NET.
