I'm not sure what 8.0 has to do with the 6.0 help file. However if you've installed a new MSDN Library CD recently, you may have caused the problem if you removed an older version(s). The help file for VFP 6.0 was on all MSDN library CDs from July 1998 through April 2001 - after that, you'll find the VFP help file included was for 7.0. Bottom line I hope you saved a copy of Foxhelp.CHM from the dates listed above.
