I'd like to know your thoughts on which is the best approach for inserting data in SQL Server tables.

I am biased, but I think the best method is to use the data classes that were originally developed by Andy Kramek and Hue Holleran and that have since been re-engineered by Andy and me.

The data classes are essentially a wrapper around SPT.
