Hi,

Due to foxpro dbf file limitation of 2G and cost issue,
we are looking into using MySql running on Linux for dataware housing use.

Have anyone done so using MySql running on Linux.
As I am new to this area. I had to following question
listed below

01) What is the file limition of linux.
02) What is the database file limition of MySql
03) Will MySql auto split it database/index file once it reach it
limit like MS Sql server do ?
04) what file type do I had to use in order to achieve the above issue
in linux

Hope to get some advise on this issue. Thank in advance
Best Regards
