Debugger won't show further execution of program code after the READ EVENTS statement. Why?

I have put in my MAIN.PRG statement READ EVENTS after initial creating objects and put the last line READ EVENTS. Debugger shows execution line by line of code, but after READ EVENTS line it stops there and it won't show what is going on in code after that.

Does anyone know how to make Debugger show execution after the READ EVENTS statement?
