>I remember seeing a commercial this weekend for one of the news networks doing a story on the impact of Kyoto on Alberta. Unfortunately I can't remember which one. I do know it was not W5 or 60 minutes. I think that is suppose to be this week sometime... I am getting old... maybe Wednesday. I'll be interested in what they have to say about the economic impact issue. They did hint on the fact that ALL Canadian citizens will be impacted financially if Kyoto has it's way in Alberta. Again this is from a failing memory...
My memory's the same way. That's why I remember '77 Grey Cup so fondly.
I believe that there is very high potential for economic impact across Canada, possiby even worse than Alberta's in the more highly populated areas.
But that is if things are left to continue as they presently are. I suspect that there is ample OPPORTUNITY to turn that around given 'suitable' reaction by the population and businesses.
My head says that I'm willing to take that chance. It simply feels much more productive than just leaving things to get worse and worse environmentally.
