I have seen what clear-cutting does in California and Oregon. Erosion is only one of the many problems this creates. We never know the “whole truth”. Are they still clear-cutting in Washington? We have been led to believe the opposite but God knows and the media is not known for telling the truth. In Oregon the logging industry is in very bad shape and many have been out of work for years. Many Mills have closed as well.

There are or were some very responsible people in the logging industry. However, they were not in the majority. There has been too much of the attitude expressed to profit today and tomorrow does not exist. I got mine and to heck with everyone else!
