Doug,
*rof'l*!!
I am an ex-smoker and I do not like to be around the odors whatsoever. I will take the responsibility to decide this issue for myself. I am not a victim.
I am also entirely in favor of letting each business establishment make its own decisions on how, when or whether-or-not to establish their particular set of guidelines/rules. I think the public should speak its mind as well, as Tamar does but I do not support mandating laws against the act of smoking at all. I think the free market dollar flow would balance things out just right. I, for one, wouldn't want to go to a restaurant that had a smoking free-for-all but I also do not think I should force them to do things my way.
What ever happened to personal responsibility? <s> And tolerance seems awfully one-sided these days.
I also do not favor lawsuits against companies like MacDonalds, blaming them for the fat kid. Sheeshh..
>Hi Doug.

>>Funny, but at the same time there are those who wish to restrict folks from peeing at all. <g> I'd think there's a 'tolerant' balance somewhere, don't you? <s>

>Good idea -- let's treat smoking like peeing. It's something I have to do every now and then, but I don't expect anyone to be exposed to my pee. I don't pee right at the table after a meal. I don't pee in the stands at a football game. I don't pee in the lobby of a hotel. But no one is stopping me from doing my business when I need to.
