If a VFP table is included in a DBC, you can modify it and click on all fields in which a null value would be valid. I know you said that allowing nulls in your VFP app was not an option, but just wanted to make it clear that it is possible to write nulls to the VFP table using DBC, and wasn't sure whether you were aware of this.
