They probaly don't. At first I thought maybe I was special. I have sent a lot of entries to IMDB correcting what some idiots entered as goofs that were not and some real goofs as well. One day, a long time ago after I sent a correction I got an email telling me that I was considered something special. I forget what they called it, but it pretty much told me that they now trusted what I had to say. They sent me some sort of auto form I could fill out that went straight in, but it wasn't very user friendly. So, I send them the old way.

Since that time, any entries I put in were added much sooner. It used to take over a week, now just a day or two. I may have also been added because of my web site that had stills proving I was in the movie.

Now, why I think others who do not have such proof or history with IMDB may get added anyway is that they want to sell "IMDB Pro", head shots etc. There are a lot of us actor wanna bees out there. I do hope people out there aren't making stuff up to weaken their site, but to say someone is an extra without having a link showing they were actually visable doesn't mean a lot. If I owned the movie and saw you, I'd tell them for ya.

While I'm at it. If there is anyone out there reading this who is considering sending a bogus entry. Please don't. In my opinion filling a great site like that with lies is the same as sending an bogus email virus just to see what kind of damage they can do to strangers or sending bad advice to the UT.
