Yes, Alessio, it does. And that's when it hurts

As an aside, Nadya pointed out that the following sequence might avoid the problem (for (2)). I have not tested this since I had my workaround ready by then

- set printer to name (ppp)
- && print
- set printer to default

This is much simpler than the solution I've come up with.
