This one can handle the compression and uncompression, which can be - indeed must be - automated by passing the command-line parameters.

E-Mail capacities are not included; you would need a different class or code for this.

On the other hand, precisely for sending attachments by e-mail, size is a very important consideration. That is, if you can manage to send 700 KB instead of 1 MB, you may save a significant amount of time and money on Internet transmission.
